Bahrain Mirror: The First Deputy Speaker of the Bahraini Shura Council Jamal Fakhro denied the exclusion of all dual nationals from government support in Bahrain, noting that only a person with two citizenships who receives support from another state will be excluded.
On the sidelines of the meeting of the joint parliamentary committee with the government yesterday, Fakhro stressed on the importance of the government having a precise system covering all beneficiaries so that the government and the legislative authority would know what each family benefits from different government agencies.
"Are there people who get more than they deserve? Are there repeated benefits and support? Or are there people who do not fit the qualifications for receiving support but get it anyway? All these things must be controlled by a new system," he further highlighted.
