Bahrain Mirror: The National Audit Office report for the years 2016-2017 said that the Ministry of Justice paid extra working hours for some of its employees on a monthly basis without taking into consideration if they're needed or not.
NAO recommended to stop paying extra working hours every month and assess the need to hire employees to perform such work.
The report also explained that the Justice Ministry exceeded its expenditures budget for the recurring expenses in the justice affairs for 2016 by 1,101,721 BD, as it amounted to 11,1067,765 BD.
The Justice Ministry's projects budget for for 2016 reached 1,565,500 BD, and a decrease in spending was noted. Only 26% of the budget was spent, which amounts to 401,395 BD. This indicates invalidity and inaccuracy of the principles followed by the Justice Ministry in estimating the projects budget for the year 2016
