Bahrain Mirror: The High Criminal Appeals Court rejected the appeals of two suspects (23 and 18 years) and upheld sentencing one of them to 5 years in prison and the other one to 2 years over putting, along with another suspect who did not appeal, fake bomb in Sheikh Salman Street near Bilad Al-Qaddem and ordered the confiscation of seized items.

In its ruling, the Court stated that in view of the circumstances of the second defendant, being under 18 years old when committing the crime, it reduced his sentence pursuant to articles 70 and 71 of the Penal Code.

The authorities claim that the suspects, along with others, gathered at 5:30 PM on July 16, 2015 and put a hoax bomb in Sheikh Salman Street in Bilad Al-Qadeem. The second appellant watched the street for the others so they can put the fake bomb and run away.
