Bahrain Mirror: The Bahrain Center for Human Rights (BCHR) said that the BCHR President Nabeel Rajab was transferred to Jaw prison on Wednesday (October 25, 2017).
Rajab reported that Rajab was subjected to ill-treatment, degrading body searches and had his head forcibly shaved by police forces. He was placed in an isolated cell, the same cell where he had served his previous sentence and which caused him psychological harm at the time.
The Center said that the security forces stormed the cell when Rajab was asleep in the middle of the night and shouted at him, insulted him and then searched him thoroughly without any apparent reason. All the books and clothes in his possession were also confiscated, and the authorities prevented him from receiving clothes replacements from his family.
