Head of Public Security Denies Arrests of Children, Says They’re Victims of “Traitors and Agents”

Bahrain Mirror: The head of Bahrain's public security Tariq Al-Hassan denied the circulated news stating that the security authorities recently arrested four children for political reasons, describing the reports as "paid lies".
"The children who were recently arrested by the authorities are the victims of the negligence and inaction of parents and victims of the incitement of human rights traffickers and servants of traitors, agents and extremists of the East and West," wrote Al-Hassan wrote on his Twitter account.
Last week, the authorities arrested four children from the Diraz area aged 12 and 13 and detained them for a week pending investigation over political reasons. This led to an uproar in the Bahraini community, and prompted calls for their immediate release.
