US Representative to Geneva Expresses his Country’s Concerns about Deterioration of HR Conditions in Bahrain

Bahrain Mirror: The United States representative to the Human Rights Council in Geneva expressed his country's concern about the deteriorating human rights conditions in Bahrain, calling on Manama to respect human rights and freedom of assembly and expression.
In his intervention in the 36th session of the Human Rights Council in Geneva, the US representative stressed that respecting the basic human rights in Bahrain is "critical for Bahrain's stability and security on the long term and for the political reconciliation as well."
He added "US is concerned about the deterioration of human rights status in Bahrain, particularly freedom of assembly and expression".
