Bahrain Mirror: The University of Bahrain announced that it is concluding its preparations for the academic year, which will begin on Sunday, September 17, 2017. It expects to receive around 30,000 students, which is the largest number of students to study at the University of Bahrain in its three headquarters (Al-Sakhir, Isa Town and Al-Salmaniya) since its establishment in 1986.
The University of Bahrain announced a few days ago the results of students who participated in the summer program this year through the student information management system (SIS). The summer program was attended by 10,311 students, including 329 courses that were introduced during this period.
A total of 7,503 high school graduates applied to the University of Bahrain to study in 44 associate diploma and bachelor's degree majors. University statistics indicate that those who actively enroll in the University of Bahrain are less than the number of applicants, as students later decide on their education options.
