Bahrain Mirror: Finance Ministry Undersecretary Aref Khamis denied on Monday (August 21, 2017) any plans to issue a decision to increase the prices of flour.

"The Government has no intention to scrap flour subsidies, whether at present or in the future", said Undersecretary Aref Saleh Khamis.

Citizens circulated information stating that the government intends to lift subsidies on flour.

Bahrain has lifted subsidies on meat and oil and decreased subsidies on electricity and water.
