Bahrain Mirror: A Bahraini man sent a video on Twitter addressing Bahrain's King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, asking the monarch to offer him protection from the National Security Apparatus (NSA), pointing out that the NSA officers threatened him with rape and insulted the Shiite faith.
Yousef Al-Jamri, an online activist, said that the NSA summoned him for questioning on Tuesday and Wednesday and that during the investigation he was threatened with death and sexual assault, and was forced to curse his deceased father.
Al-Jamri said via his Twitter account that investigators insulted his Shiite faith and the supreme Shiite religious authority Ayatollah Ali Al-Sistani.
"My life is in danger. I hope you will issue your orders to open an urgent investigation to ensure my safety and the safety of all my family members and my mother," he pleaded the King.
The National Security Agency has summoned many activists and forced them under pressure and torture to quit their human rights and media activities.
The NSA has charged activist Ebtisam Al-Sayegh with terrorism for exposing what she was subjected to in the interrogation rooms of the security authorities' complex in Muharraq.
