Bahrain Mirror- Exclusive: Few hours after UN independent experts issued a statement in which they expressed deep concern at reports that Ibtisam Al-Saegh has been tortured, the public prosecution claimed that she is engaged in forming a terrorist group.
The Prosecution arrested Al-Saegh along with activist Nizar Al-Qatari and two others for 6 months pending investigations under Anti-Terrorism Law.
The authorities arrested human rights activist Ibtisam Al-Saegh about two weeks ago for the second time within a month.
Al-Saegh said that she was tortured and sexually abused in the notorious Criminal Investigation Department.
The prosecution said in a statement that the security agencies arrested one of the defendants who established the so-called "Manama Human Rights Observatory".
It also mentioned that Al-Saegh called the Qatari Al-Karama Foundation, which the statement said is enlisted in the terror list issued by states boycotting Qatar.
