Bahraini Parliament Approves State Budget with Over 2.5 Billion BD Deficit

Bahrain Mirror: The House of Representatives approved on Tuesday (July 11, 2017) a state budget bill for 2017 and 2018, with a deficit exceeding 2.5 billion BD.
The House of Representatives also approved a law suggested by the government allowing raising the public debt ceiling to 13 billion BD.
Bahrain suffers from financial difficulties due oil price decline, as it depends on oil revenues by over 80%.
