Jaafari Endowment Condemns Parliament PR Director for Scorning Shiites

Bahrain Mirror: The Jaafari Endowment Council of Directors condemned an official in the Bahraini parliament for abusing and scorning Shiites.
The board said, "It is deeply regrettable that a distinguished writer with an official post, director of Public Relations in the Parliament, which represents the whole people, abuses and acorns a component of Bahrain's social pattern, at a time when his position requires him to remain objective and deal equally with all citizens' matters."
This statement comes in reference to writer in Akhbar Al-Khaleej newspaper, Mahmeed Al-Mahmeed.
In its statement issued Saturday (July 8, 2017), the Council of Directors of the Jaafari Endowment said it "strongly deplores the abuse by the writer and his violation of ethics and customs in addressing the Chairman of the Council of Jaafari Endowments in a scorning manner, over statements that were denied at the time."
Moreover, the Jaafari Endowment council confirmed in its statement that they are "appointed by virtue of a Royal Decree, and has the full trust of the Kingdom, and will not delay committing to its role under its competencies addressed by law." It further noted that among the goals of the Jaafari Endowment council is maintaining the Kingdom of Bahrain's image of coexistence among all its components.
