Bahrain Mirror: Bahraini Member of Parliament demanded that the dispute with Qatar not be resolved before the latter pays BD 15 billion (around $39 billion), as compensation for economic damages caused by Qatar's "support of terrorism".
MP Khalid al-Shaer accused the ruling family in Qatar of conspiring against Bahrain. He also demanded Qatar to pay no less than BD 15 billion, to compensate for economic and security losses Bahrain faces during the past 6 years.
"Bahrain was affected on many levels due to Qatar's funding of terrorism, starting with human losses to the economic crisis," the Bahraini MP said. He also stressed the importance of not resolving the Qatari issue without compensating to Bahrain and other affected countries.
