Bahrain Mirror: Human rights activist Ibtisam Al-Saegh was admitted to hospital on Friday (May 26, 2017) due to nervous breakdown after 8 hours of interrogation by the national security apparatus.

Sources close to Al-Saegh said that she was beaten and subjected to degrading treatment which led her to a nervous breakdown. The sources said that Al-Saegh collapsed after the interrogation session and was immediately transferred to the hospital.

Al-Saegh was attacked by pro-government media outlets and organizations before her car was set to fire last week and was summoned for interrogations today.
