Bahrain Mirror: Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Bahram Ghasemi condemned the verdict issued against supreme religious leader in Bahrain, Ayatollah Sheikh Isa Qassim, expressing concern from the regime's continuous "security methods".
"Bahraini authorities have adopted the sectarian approach to accuse Ayatollah Qassim and two others of false accusations, as the authorities attempt to try religious rituals," the Iranian Foreign Ministry stated.
Ghasemi called on the Bahraini government to focus on dealing with people instead of confronting them and restricting their main freedoms. He also called on the regime not to escalate the complications in the country.
