Bahrain Senior Clerics: Verdict against Ayatollah Qassim a Major Shock, Conviction of Shiite Sect

Bahrain Mirror: Bahrain's senior religious clerics said that the trial and conviction of His Eminence Ayatollah Sheikh Isa Ahmad Qassim, represented a major shock. They believed it also represents "the conviction of the sect and its rituals", expressing regret that the country stands at this interval with all its difficult repercussions.
In a statement, the senior clerics noted that "Ayatollah Qassim has a distinguished place in the public's sentiment", stressing that violating the Khums ritual is considered a flagrant violation of the sect's teachings.
Sayed Abdullah Al Ghuraifi, Sheikh Mohammad Saleh Al-Rubaie, Sheikh Abdul Hussein Al-Sitri, and Sheikh Mohammad Sanqour, called on the people to keep their "stances peaceful".
