MoI Warns Internet Users against Virus in Form of Email

Bahrain Mirror: The General Director of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Science warned on Saturday internet users from a virus in a form of an email that hit thousands of organizations around the world. The virus hides data and asks for money to bring them back.
He said that the virus comes as fake email with PDF file attachment that attacked and control the computer when the link is opened. He called upon the public to avoid suspicious websites or opening unknown links, while reporting such cases to the hotline 992.
