Bahrain Mirror: Human Rights Watch (HRW) criticized President of the Asian Football Confederation, Bahrain's Salman bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa, for voting against a Palestinian proposal to halt Israeli football matches organized on settlement playgrounds in Palestinian territories occupied since 1967
On its twitter page, HRW said "We thanked Sheikh Salman for supporting Palestine against the matches sponsored by Israel and FIFA in West Bank settlements, yet he retreated his statement and voted against Palestine."
