Bahrain Mirror: An electrical short circuit caused a fire in the vehicle of former Al-Wefaq Bloc MP Khalil Al-Marzouq at dawn on Sunday (May 7, 2017). The electrical fire caused considerable damage to the car and to one side of the house's exterior, which lies in the village of Jeblat Habshi in Bahrain.
Al-Marzouq, the political advisor to the Al-Wefaq Secretary General Sheikh Ali Salman who resigned from the parliament in 2011, said that the Civil Defence managed to put out the fire.
It is worth noting that a similar incident took place last Thursday (May 4, 2017) when a group of unknown assailants shattered the rear windshield of the vehicle of former secretary general of the General Federation of Workers Trade Unions in Bahrain (GFWTUB) Sayed Salman Al-Mahfouz that was parked at his home in the Saar area. His son Loai's car was also set on fire by a group of unknown persons at around 2:30 am last Friday.
