Geneva: Guatemala Demands Bahrain to Invite Special Rapporteurs to Visit Country

Bahrain Mirror - Exclusive: Guatemala demanded the government of Bahrain to invite UN Special Rapporteurs to visit the country, and to end sectarian persecution.
In its intervention on Monday (May 1, 2017) during the 27th UPR session in Geneva on Bahrain's human rights record, Guatemala recommended that Bahrain prevents discrimination on the basis of religion and belief, and to ratify the convention against torture, convention to protect refugees, and to combat discrimination against women.
