BCHR Reports 10 Arrests, 52 Prison Verdicts in 1 Week

Bahrain Mirror: The Bahrain Center for Human Rights (BCHR) aid that Bahrain witnessed last week (from 10 April to 16 April) the arrest of 10 Bahraini citizens, among them a child. The center also reported that a total of 52 persons have been judged in 12 politically motivated cases, and have been sentenced to a total of 313.6. Among them 3 defendants were sentenced to life in prison, the BCHR noted.
Moreover, the BCHR registered a total of 40 marches in the same week, taking place in 24 villages in Bahrain, 9 marches of which were attacked by the riot police.
