Ombudsman Meets US Ambassador and Congress Delegation

Bahrain Mirror: Ombudsman Nawaf Mohammed Al-Moawdah received US Congress officials and the Ambassador of the United States to the Kingdom of Bahrain, William V. Roebuck, in a separate visit.
The Ombudsman account stated that Al-Moawdah met US Congress delegation on Sunday (April 16, 2016) and briefed them on the role of the Ombudsman's Office, the first of its kind in the region that was set up to promote respect of human rights in the work fields of the Interior Ministry and that of supervising the reform and rehabilitation centres and pre-detention centers.
In the same context, Al-Moawdah met Ambassador of the United States to the Kingdom of Bahrain, William V. Roebuck, on Monday (April 17, 2017) and reviewed the Ombudsman Office's efforts to serve the public within its domain as part of institutional action that boosts the respecting of human rights principles.
