Bahrain Mirror: The Council of Representatives is scheduled to discuss in his urgent session the law proposal to amend some laws in the Code of Criminal Procedure.

These amendments aim at extending the scope of those included under the protection shield, to include experts and informants. This would also include victims and eyewitnesses who provide information during trials.

Moreover, the amendments suggest the protection for the aforementioned criteria to guarantee justice in investigations or trials.
