Bahrain Mirror: The Bahraini security forces prevented on Friday morning (April 7, 2017) environmental activist Mohamed Jawad (56 years) and his wife from leaving the country without mentioning the reasons.
Jawad posted on his own twitter account at about 10:30 AM saying "My wife and I were denied leaving Bahrain International Airport without being told about the reason behind this ban".
Yesterday, the authorities prevented Sayed Hadi Al-Musawi, head of Al-Wefaq's human rights and freedoms department, from leaving the country in a measure that aims at preventing activists from taking part in universal periodic review of Bahrain's human rights file in the UNHRC.
