Bahrain Mirror: Bahrain's regime forces banned on Tuesday (March 28, 2017) people from holding mourning procession for martyr Mostafa Hamdan who passed away on Friday, as a result of a head injury he sustained after civilian security forces attacked protestors in Diraz on January 26.
Police patrols blocked all the entrances leading to Karbabad and prevented a religious preacher from entering the village. Besides, the Ministry of Interior deployed armored vehicles inside the neighborhoods.
The forces also surrounded the obsequy from which the mourners were supposed to head towards Al-Hila cemetery. Police vehicles deployed throughout the road reaching the cemetery that was also besieged.
Mother of martyr Hamdan said that the regime forces intercepted her as she made her way to the cemetery and threatened to beat her in case she insisted to enter it.
