Bahrain Mirror: Human rights activist Safaa Al-Khawaja, quoted families of detainees in Jaw Central Prison as saying that the prison's police bet one of the detainees for reciting Dua'a Kumail on Thursday night, and that he was returned to the prison cell while suffering from fatigue due to beating.
She added that the statements of detainees' families stressed that "officers Hani and Radwan" are the ones who cause quarrels and problems that take place in prison ward 4, explaining that "one of the confessions stressed that officer Hani agitated the detainee Hussein Mansour from Karzakan and bet him. He was then taken to the solitary confinement in a bad condition and in need of treatment."

Safaa Al-Khawaja concluded saying that several messages were sent to the prison's administration, responsible officer and Ombudsman by the detainees concerning what is happening to them. However, none of the parties responded to the sent messages.
