Bahrain Mirror: Pakistani activists said they will lead a social media campaign via twitter, in support of the Bahraini religious leader, Ayatollah Sheikh Isa Qassim.

A Bahraini court was scheduled to issue a verdict in the case of Sheikh Isa Qassim today (March 14, 2017), in a trial considered to target the Shiite existence in the country, and the Shiite religious Khums ritual. This came after the Bahraini King ruled the revocation of Sheikh Qassim's citizenship mid-June 2016, in response to his anti-regime political stances, and support to the February 14 uprising.

In an exclusive interview with "Bahrain Mirror", the activists aid the campaign would be under the hashtag #Justice4IsaQassim, and that it would be launched 7:00 pm (Bahrain time Tuesday) through their twitter accounts @IsaQassim1 and @Teamconfronters.

They called for the support of this campaign to raise the stance against injustice and "state terrorism" in Bahrain.

Moreover, the Pakistani activists also mentioned that the campaign targets the international opinion on the Bahraini cause, to raise awareness on the systematic targeting of a specific community, which undermines the religious figures.

Furthermore, in their campaign announcement, the Pakistani activists indicated that this campaign comes in response to latest development in Bahrain, in particular the revocation of Sheikh Isa Qassim's citizenship, and granting military courts the authority to try civilians.

Pakistani activists have always organized forums and gatherings to condemn what's happening in Bahrain since the February 14, 2011 revolution broke out.
