Bahrain Crown Prince Arrives in Doha Days after PM Visit

Bahrain Mirror: Bahrain Crown Prince, and Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, arrived in Qatar in an official visit, during which he is expected to meeting Qatar Prince Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani. This visit comes in light of information suggesting that Bahrain is seeking financial support after the deterioration of the country's economic situation.
Upon his arrival to Qatar, the Crown Prince said that "this visit comes in light of King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa's keenness to strengthen joint action with Gulf Cooperation Council countries. Exchanging visits between brothers had a pivotal impact in enhancing cooperation and coordination on all political, developmental and economic levels." He also noted that such visits play a role in formulating understandings pertinent to effectively tackling any challenges and circumstances in the region.
Furthermore, the Crown Prince added, "My visit several days after the visit of Prime Minister Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa to Doha, confirmed our close relations and keenness to enhance cooperation and coordination, for the benefit of both our countries and nations, and to support the Gulf Cooperation Council's path."
