Bahraini Interior Ministry: Five Policemen Injured in Bomb Blast near Jaw

Bahrain Mirror: The Ministry of Interior in Bahrain announced today on Sunday (February 26, 2017) that five members of its security forces were injured in a bombing that targeted a police bus near the village of Jaw, where the notorious Central Jaw Prison is located.
"A terrorist blast hit a bus carrying police personnel on Sunday evening on Durrat Road going towards the south when a homemade bomb was remotely detonated. Five police personnel were injured and were taken to hospital. Two were discharged while the condition of the other three remains stable," said a statement issued by the Interior Ministry.
The ministry had tweeted earlier on its official Twitter account: "Terrorist blast in police bus near Jua village. 4 policemen injured and they are in a stable condition. Necessary steps are being taken."
