Bahrain Mirror: The Bahraini authorities buried on Sunday (February 12, 2017) the bodies of martyrs Rida Al Ghisra, Mahmoud Yahya, and Mostafa Yousef, in Sheikh Maitham Al Bahrani Cemetery in Umm Al Hassam area, amid tight security measures.

The families of the martyrs received today morning a call asking their presence at the Hoora police station. Security authorities held two members of each family, and took them to the cemetery to attend the burial ceremony, which was confined to a very limited number.

A statement issued by Bahraini scholars stressed that the burial did not happen in accordance with religious teachings, in relation to prayers and funeral procession. The statement noted that family representatives were forced to dig the graves of the three martyrs, in violation of religious provisions.

Regime forces imposed a security cordon around the cemetery, while other troops were deployed inside of it, and prevented the families' representatives from taking pictures.

The families of martyrs gathered in one of the streets near the cemetery to demand their participation in the funeral. However, regime forces threatened to use force against them if they did not leave.

Mother of martyr Rida Al Ghisra, told the security officers surrounding her that her son has gone to Allah (...) "but you deprived me from see him for the last time". She added, "Come and see with your own eyes his grand funeral procession tonight."

Bahraini special forces had killed martyrs Al Ghisra, Yahya, and Yousef, and injured two others, when they intercepted a boat, via which, they, along with 5 others, attempted to flee Bahrain by sea last Thursday dawn.
