Bahrain Mirror: King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received at Safriya Palace on Wednesday (January 18, 2017) Kuwaiti Ambassador to Italy Ali Khalid Al Jaber Al Sabah as well as a number of officials and participants in "This is Bahrain" function.
Hamad bin Isa lauded the role of the Kuwaiti ambassador in ensuring success of "This is Bahrain" which was held in Italy recently, hailing the successful outcome of the function.
"This is Bahrain" campaign is considered one of the most famous public relations campaigns that Bahrain uses to whitewash its tarnished reputation due to the criticism raised against it over human rights violations.
Last Sunday, the authorities executed 3 political dissidents after the king approved the verdict. The authorities had accused the victims of blasting a bomb that killed 3 policemen including an Emirati officer.
Human rights organizations criticized the execution process, indicating that the victims were subjected to torture to say convicting confessions that were used as evidence against them in the court.
