Visits of Jaw Prison’s Inmates Canceled

Bahrain Mirror: Families of political prisoners in Jaw central prison confirmed that they received calls stating that all the scheduled visits on Sunday (January 15, 2017) were canceled. President of Gulf Centre for Human Rights Maryam Al-Khawaja said "My family was just told that my father's visit scheduled tomorrow has been canceled as well as the visits for 200 prisoners.: This comes in the light of precautionary security measures following news about authorities' intentions to implement death sentences against 3 political detainees.
