Bahrain Mirror: An eyewitness said that detainee Sayed Alawi Sayed Hussein al-Moussawi is being transferred via a wheelchair due to severe torture. Sayed Alawi has been detained for more than 80 days, and denied chance to meet his family or lawyer.
The witness added that Sayed Alawi "is transferred from Jaw Central Prison to Hoora Police Station. He is sometimes transferred to the hospital for medical treatment, and constant electrocardiography and pressure measurement, out of fear that he might suffer a sudden heart attack." Moreover, he clarified that Sayed Alawi is held in Building #15 in Jaw Central Prison, dubbed the "Investigations Ward"; and no one is allowed near his cell.
The Interior Ministry and Public Prosecution refuse to give any information to Sayed Alawi's family and his lawyer, pertaining to where he is held and the charges against him.
Civilian personnel affiliated with the Interior Ministry had detained the Diraz-residing Sayed Alawi Sayed Hussein from his work place at Batelco Company in Muharraq.
