Bahrain Mirror: Hezbollah Secretary General, His Eminence Sayed Hassan Nasrallah, said (Friday December 23, 2016) that what happened in Diraz is proof that the Bahraini government does not work with reason, and still insists on committing follies.
Sayed Nasrallah indicated that the government almost "committed a folly had it not been to the people of Diraz and nearby towns, who confronted the Bahraini police, who attempted to attack the house of Ayatollah Sheikh Isa Qassim."
In a speech delivered in a gathering with university students in Beirut, Lebanon, Sayed Nasrallah said what happened, confirmed that the Bahraini people did not surrender, and will not give up their leader.
Moreover, Hezbollah Secretary General reiterated his call on the Bahraini government "to reason, and not lead things to a place it would regret a lot, along with those who support and push it to commit these foolish acts."
The Bahraini authorities had attacked Wednesday (December 21, 2016) the protesters demonstrating outside the house of Ayatollah Sheikh Isa Qassim in Diraz. Authority forces later retreated after clashes with protesters and residents.
