"Awal Center" translated the book from Persian, and was praised by many visitors at the book fair. Lebanese al-Akhbar newspaper on its part placed the book among the 15 books it recommended for the readers.

The newspaper also said that in his book, Zarif tries as must as possible to answer many questions that might cross the mind of readers, researchers, and even politicians, about his live, diplomacy and politics in general. Al-Akhbar went on to say that this book had a huge impact among Iranians, with more than seven printed editions.

The dialogues documented in the book were conducted between 2010 and 2012, but were prevented from being published until the end of former Iranian President, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's mandate in August 2013.

Moreover, the translated book's introduction notes Zarif's vast diplomatic role in representing his country at the United Nations, and his affective presence within the American community.

"The study of Zarif's biography, and paying attention to the positive and negative aspects of his work, bring up a valuable example of the study of Iranian diplomats in the outside world, within the frame of Iran's foreign policy," the introduction added.
