Manama Dialogue Kicks off Today, IISS under Investigation for Receiving Secret Funding from Al Khalifa

Bahrain Mirror: The 2016 Manama Dialogue will start today (Friday, December 9m 2016) in the Kingdom of Bahrain.  The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is organizing the forum in cooperation with the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS).

The new forum is to be launched amid a scandal about the organizing party (ISIS), a British thinktank, that received secret funding from Al Khalifa ruling family, as organizations have lately discovered.

The UK Charity Commission stressed that it will look into the complaint against the British thinktank regarding the threat of its independence after accepting a secret funding from Bahrain.

Manama Dialogue is supposed to discuss conflicts in Syria and Iraq, instable situation in Libya and Yemen, extremism and regional security.

The British Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson is supposed to arrive in Bahrain to take part in "Manama Dialogue" hours after his statement that sparked controversy in which he said that Saudi Arabia is funding proxy war and damaging Islam.
