Bahrain Mirror: Local Bahraini newspaper al-Wasat said that some university staff members of the unemployed "list 1912" entitled "Empowerment List", received a sudden notice (on Wednesday November 30, 2016) from the Ministry of Labor and Social Development, informing them that their training period has been terminated.
The staff at the Ministry of Works, Municipal Affairs and Urban Planning of "list 1912" expressed their "deep dissatisfaction for ending their training program that was supposed to continue until January 2017, since the Prime Minister ordered last October 5 the extension of their training period for 3 addition months. [This was supposed to be] until they adjust their situation and find suitable alternatives for them," according to the newspaper.
It's worth mentioning that the university staff from the "list 1912" have spent more than 7 years working there without receiving any bonuses or rewards, and with a fixed salary of 300 Dinars, of which only 270 Dinars are given to them after deductions.
