Bahrain Mirror: Thousands of Bahrainis took part in the open rally held outside the house of Bahraini Shia spiritual leader Ayatollah Sheikh Isa Qassim, marking 150 days since the launch of the protest.
Photos posted by activists on social media sites showed mass crowds participating in the rally despite the strict security measures and siege imposed on the village since last June.
Protestors chanted anti-government slogans, called for putting an end to the ruling Al Khalifa family's monopoly over power and demanded that Sheikh Qassim's nationality be reinstated.
The revocation of Sheikh Qassim's citizenship provoked widespread local and international condemnation and raised criticism of Bahrain allies in Washington, London and the United Nations.
