2016-11-05 - 3:12 am
Bahrain Mirror: The family of detainee Ali Youssef Mohammad said that the Bahraini authorities canceled his housing request, and suspended the bonus on living expenses of his wife and three children.
The family said that the authorities distributed housing units to the residents of Karzakan based on the 2003 housing applications, yet the said detainee's name was not on the list.
The housing ministry announced the timetable to update the data for those who have applied housing requests, yet it refused to update the data of the detainees. Rights organizations accused the government of using "capital punishment".
The detainee's family indicated that it has been waiting for the housing service for more than 13 years.
