Turki al-Faisal: Washington Policies Take Bahrain into Iran’s Arms

Bahrain Mirror: Former Head of Saudi Intelligence Apparatus, Turki al-Faisal, expressed his deep concern about the future of the political situation in Bahrain, as he believed that "the Iranian power is growing in it in a worrying and dangerous way."
According to electronic newspaper, Rai al-Yawm (Friday October 28, 2016), the Saudi Prince expressed his fears over Bahrain on the sidelines of recent meetings with Arab politicians and parliamentarians.
The newspaper indicated that Prince Turki criticized Washington's policies in supporting the Bahraini opposition backed by Iran. He further expressed concern that the US policies towards Bahrain would lead the Gulf Kingdom into Iranian arms.
Moreover, the newspaper added, that al-Faisal "was explaining the details of the struggle in the region, due to the Iranian ambitions."
Al-Faisal often talks about the Saudi authorities' secret approaches, most significantly is the issue of normalization with Israel, which al-Faisal talked about years ago.
