Bahrain Mirror: Protestors took to the street in mass protest after Friday prayer, condemning the prevention of Shia majority from holding their largest Friday prayer in the Imam Al-Sadiq mosque.
Protesters chanted anti-regime slogans, demanding to put an end to Al Khalifa monopoly over power and end discrimination practiced against Shia.
The authorities have been imposing a siege on Diraz since over 4 months based on the open sit-in outside Sheikh Isa Qassim's house, protesting against the decision that revoked his citizenship on June 20.
The imposed siege led to bringing Friday prayer to a halt as worshipers and Imam of Friday prayer were prevented from entering the village.
