British PM Discusses “Reform Program” With Bahrain King

Bahrain Mirror: The UK Prime Minister's office spokesperson said that UK Prime Minister Theresa May discussed with the King of Bahrain several topics, most importantly the "ongoing domestic reform program and how to build on that to bring greater inclusivity to the political and social fabric of Bahrain."
Both officials "also touched on regional security issues, including Yemen and the importance of achieving a prolonged ceasefire there, the shared fight against Daesh in Iraq and Syria, and the importance of seeing progress on the Middle East peace process," during their meeting in London's Downing Street.
According to the UK Foreign Office, May confirmed her country's commitment to the security of the Gulf. On his part, Bahrain King formally invited the Prime Minister to the Gulf Cooperation Council Leaders' Summit in December as guest of honor.
