Rights Society Zainab Al-Khmees from leaving the country.
Activist Al-Khmees tweeted (October 17, 2016) saying "I was now banned from traveling pursuant to a decision that matches with the systematic targeting against human rights defenders and freedom of movement."
The authorities have launched a widespread campaign against the opposition and human rights defenders since June and took several arbitral measures including banning human rights activists from leaving the country in order not to take part in international events. This step prompted condemnation from the United Nations and Washington.
