Bahrain Mirror: The minor criminal court presided over by Judge Jaber al-Jazzar and Thabet Al-Hayiki as a secretariat, summoned on Thursday (September 22, 2016) head of the biggest Shiite religious institution in Bahrain, Sayyed Majeed Al-Mashaal, over a new case. Al-Mashaal was summoned from prison where he is serving a 2-year sentence.

In this case, Al-Mashaal is accused, along with Sheikh Ali Al-Jufairy and Yousef al-Asfour, of taking part in the protest outside the house of Shiite spiritual leader, Ayatollah Sheikh Isa Qassim.

Sayed Majeed Al-Mashaal had faced the same accusations in two previous cases, one of which resulted in a 2-year imprisonment sentence against him, while the second was adjourned until October 6, 2016.
