Bahrain Mirror: An Assembly of Iranian Experts member, Ayatollah Sheikh Abbas Kaabi, said that the Bahraini regime's oppressive practices against Ayatollah Sheikh Isa Qassim and his supporters will lead to an uprising, which in turn will cost the regime dearly.
In a speech he delivered in front of crowd of Bahraini students in Qom Hawza on (Wednesday, September 14, 2016) on the eve of Sheikh Isa Qassim's trial, Kaabi stressed that "the Bahraini people hold a great message. They did not engage in a conflict for themselves, they are defending the Islamic identity as a whole."
He added "Our hands are not cuffed. However, we adopt the policy of self-restraint in facing Al Khalifa to maintain unity," explaining that Sheikh Isa Qassim "has maintained the national security and the unity of Bahraini people. His demands are legal and peaceful." Sheikh Kaabi stressed that "Hawzas in Qom and Najaf are concerned about the condition of Sheikh Isa Qassim. Bahrain's rulers should not exploit policy of self-restraint and steps that are consistent with the maintenance of Islamic unity."
