Bahrain Mirror: Al-Wasat local Bahraini newspaper reported that at least 20 Bahrainis were taken into custody in Saudi Arabia in the past few days. "It is likely that the reason behind this detention is performing Haj without liscence," noted the paper.Head of the Haj and Umra Affairs Department at the religious affairs directorate of the Bahraini Justice Ministry, Khalid Al-Maloud, denied having any official statistic of the number of Bahrainis detained for performing Haj without liscence."The security committee affiliated to the Bahrain Haj mission, in coordination with the Bahraini Counsolate in Jeddah, is following up the issue with the Saudis," he added.Asked whether the mission will continue to follow up the issue, Al-Maloud said that although these Bahraini nationals were arrested for breaking the law, it is our duty to follow up the case.
