Bahrain Mirror: The secretary general of the Progressive Democratic Forum Society, Abdulnabi Salman, called on the Minister of Finance Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa to review the last copy of the Financial and Administrative Control Bureau report (2015 report) regarding the source of financing the allowance to improve cost-of-living of retirees.
In a press statement, Salman stressed that he relied on the "original copy of the report that he directly received from the public relations department in the Parliament," highlighting that "the allowance to improve cost-of-living of retirees has been always deducted from General Organization for Social Insurances."
However, the minister of finance denied this, saying "all the money adopted to cover the said allowance was among state's general budget and that no single Dinar was deducted from the insurance budget."
