Bahrain Mirror: The security authorities in Bahrain's International Airport prevented the head of the monitoring and documentation unit at the Bahrain Center for Human Rights (BCHR) and human rights activist Enas Oun from leaving Bahrain.
Enas Oun said on her own Twitter account on Monday (August 22, 2016) that she was prevented from leaving Bahrain through the airport "on Criminal Investigation Unit orders".
Since last June, the government has launched the severest and most violent campaign against opposition, activists and Shia majority since crushing the protests in March 2011. The government revoked the citizenship of the spiritual leader of Shia sect Sheikh Isa Qassim, arrested dozens of Shiite clerics and prevented human rights activists from leaving Bahrain.
