Bahrain Mirror: The Bahraini Public Prosecution decided to detain 12 citizens, including 6 Shiite clerics, over charges of joining the open rally held outside Ayatollah Sheikh Isa Qassim's house, who was stripped of his nationality by the authorities last June.
The Northern Governorate's Deputy Prosecutor, Mahmoud Al-Siddiqi, said that the Public Prosecution "received a report from the Al-Budaiya Police Station stating that a number of people were assembling in the Diraz area," adding that some of the participants were identified.
"The prosecution investigated the incident immediately after receiving the report, as it interrogated 12 suspects and ordered their arrests after charging them with illegal assembly," he further stated.
