Al-Marzouq, Al-Dairi and Al-Shahabi Released, Sheikh Al-Mou’min Arrested

Bahrain Mirror: Security authorities concluded the investigation with opposition leader and Assistant Secretary General of the Al-Wefaq Society, Khalil Al-Marzouq, and he was left to leave the police station. Until now, it is still not clear what the nature of charges against him were.
The security authorities had summoned Khalil along with 11 other people, among them prominent Shiite clerics.
On the other hand, the security authorities also finished interrogating religious scholar, and former Member of Parliament, Sheikh Hamza Al-Dairi, who left the police station after investigations were concluded.
Security authorities had arrested Shia clerics Sheikh Isa Al-Mou'min, preacher of "Al-Kheif" Mosque in the area of Al-Dair, and Sheikh Mohammad Jawad Al-Shahabi. Sheikh Al-Mou'min was arrested and Al-Shahabi was released after the interrogations.
Opposition sources say that 41 Shiite clerics were detained or summoned for interrogation, since 14 June 2016.
